On the initiative of  EVANGELOS  FYLAKTOS, marble artist and history researcher, (cf. About Us  -> Board  -> Chairman of the Board and  www.filaktos.gr), the GREEK COMMITTEE  FOR THE RETURN OF THE ACROPOLIS  SCUPLTURES  [EEEGA]  is established in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece. This effort is supported by 125 founding members, scholars, artists, scientists, students, and ordinary citizens. EEEGA aims to inform  and  raise awareness  in  Greece and around  the world.
